Acting within the legally prescribed competence to monitor the implementation of laws concerning the prohibition of discrimination and send recommendations of measures to public authorities and other persons for achieving equality and protection against discrimination, the Commissioner for Protection of Equality refers to the Office of Information Technology and Electronic Administration the following

RECOMMENDATION OF MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY AND PROTECTION AGAINST DISCRIMINATION

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends that the Office for Information Technology and Electronic Administration:

– take measures and activities within its competence, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, in order to adapt the software module for issuing registration stickers at authorized technical check-ups so that persons with disabilities can complete the registration of their vehicles at authorized technical check-ups, in cases where they use the right on exemption from the tax on the use of a motor vehicle, in compliance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, as well.

The Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration will inform the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality about the measures taken in order to implement this recommendation, within 30 days from the day of receiving the recommendation of measures for achieving equality.

In accordance with the law, no appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this recommendation of measures for achieving equality.
