Training for peer educators – protection against discrimination and different forms of violence

Organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and the UN Population Fund in Serbia, a two-day training session was held for peer educators on the topic of protection against discrimination and various forms of violence. During this training, young people had the opportunity to learn about the role of peer educators and the main goals of the bodyright campaign, but also to share their experiences and opinions on the topic of discrimination and tolerance.

The role of young people in imparting knowledge is crucial in creating an equal and tolerant society, which is why it is important that their voices be heard and that they are the main ones in imparting knowledge to their peers.

After completing the training, peer educators will have the opportunity to hold workshops for high school students in six cities in 2023 on the topic of protection against discrimination and various forms of violence, with an emphasis on the danger of cyber violence and discrimination in the online sphere.
