Commissioner and members of the World Bank team agreed that there was a need to exert additional efforts towards promoting gender equality and equal access to economy potential, regarding women, youth and different ethnic groups, because they still face obstacles in the area of labor and access to employment. This is the reason the discussion was dedicated to a closer cooperation aimed at improving equal access to economic potential, eliminating barriers, supporting and empowering women, youth and other marginalized groups in order to enhance their life quality.
Members of the World Bank delegation included Marco Hernandez, Program Leader, Maria Arribas Banos, Advisor, Maria Davalos, Senior Economist and Marijana Jašarević from the Social Protection Sector of the World Bank Country Office.
