Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic met with seventh and eighth grade pupils from elementary school Vuk Karadzic in Belgrade at the meeting „Girls speak“, held within international campaign „Inspiring girls“ organized by Center for Research, Transparency and Responsibility. In discussion with girls and boys, Commissioner explained them the significance of equality in all areas of life and emphasized that they should not be tied with traditional separation on man’s and women’s jobs, but instead they should think about how to be successful in professions that they will eventually choose in the future. She stressed that conditions are accelerating to better with coming of new generations and that they should not give up their wishes because of misunderstanding of environment or roles that are being imposed to them.
