The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, opened the traditional event “Tripoint Without Borders” in Priboj, organized by the women’s association “Save the Village”.
“Tripoint Without Borders” promotes culture and customs, our most beautiful and noble heritage, and the true intent of good neighborly coexistence. “Tradition is not only a testimony of past times, but a wealth of diversity and a driving force, and in our villages, there are thousands of enlightening stories of women and men who are still waiting to become someone’s guide and inspiration”, said the Commissioner and added that a manifestation like this one in Priboj reminds us not to forget the obligation of all of us to preserve from oblivion our tradition and culture, especially original and female creativity.
In the competitive part, the best singing groups of original songs performed, among which there were many girls and boys – guardians of tradition from Serbia, Montenegro, and Republika Srpska. At the event, various handicrafts of the members of numerous associations were also presented, and the best pie of the tripoint and the best stand were chosen.
