The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality will be a partner in the implementation of the project “Empowering the LGBTI workforce in the Serbian labor market”, dedicated to the inclusion of LGBTI persons in the labor market in the Republic of Serbia. On the occasion of the start of cooperation on the project, which is being implemented with the support of the Chevening alumni fund and the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Belgrade, the first meeting with representatives of the project team was held.

The ways of support that the Commissioner will provide in the project were discussed. The goal of the project is to educate and empower citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are members of this minority social group in terms of protecting their rights in the field of work and employment, as well as to promote, in partnership with companies, examples of good practice of inclusive work environments.
