On the occasion of marking October 1 – the International Day of Older Persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality is announcing a competition for the best literary work, artistic work, and photography on the topic “BRIDGE OF UNDERSTANDING – INTERGENERATION SOLIDARITY “.

Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 of elementary schools from the Republic of Serbia can apply for the competition and express their opinion on the given topic that age does not have to and must not be an obstacle for a dignified and quality life, and thus contribute to combating discrimination against the elderly in our society.

An expert jury will decide on the contributions. First, second and third prizes are awarded in each of the categories. The results of the competition will be announced on the eve of the International Day of Older Persons on the Internet presentation of the Commissioner www.ravnopravnost.gov.rs.
