Acting within the legally prescribed competence to monitor the implementation of laws concerning the prohibition of discrimination and  recommend equality measures to public authorities and other persons, Commissioner for the Protection of Equality refers to the Special Hospital for Rehabilitation “Rusanda” Melenci the following

RECOMMENDATION ON MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY

Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends to the Special Hospital for Rehabilitation “Rusanda” Melenci:

– to take all measures within its competence to provide health services to persons living with HIV/AIDS without prejudice and without setting special conditions for providing health services that are not justified by medical reasons.

The Special Hospital for Rehabilitation “Rusanda” Melenci will notify the Commissioner for Equality Protection about the measures planned in order to implement this recommendation, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the recommendation of measures for achieving equality.

No appeal or any other remedy is permitted against this recommendation on measures for achieving equality in compliance with the law.
