Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic condemns the appearance of graffiti against MP Marinika Tepic, as well as all threats which were addressed to her in the previous days on the social networks.

Graffiti that contain threats and inappropriate, sexist and discriminatory messages are intolerable in every democratic society, where all citizens should feel equal and safe.

Commissioner welcomes timely reaction of the police and arresting of the person who is suspected for sending threats to MP Tepic, reminding in the same time that these new threats, which are now written in the public, demand the extension of investigation and proper sanctioning of the perpetrators.
