Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, strongly condemns the assault against Boban Stojanović, LGBT activist, and expects from competent authorities to apprehend and punish the assailants.

Commissioner Janković said that every type of violence, threat and hate speech against members of any minority or vulnerable group, including LGBT population, must be sanctioned adequately.

Also, it is necessary to take all appropriate measures so that persons with different sexual orientation could live without fear for their safety.
