In her two-day working visit to Austria, the Commissioner for Protection of Equality Ms Brankica Janković met with the Director of Austrian Umbrella organization for protection of persons with disabilities Ms Eringard Kaufmann.

At the meeting they discussed the possibility of inclusion of the persons with disabilities in our society and the Commissioner and the Director of the Austrian organization agreed that the inclusive education is the most important. Also, they emphasized the importance of making public spaces more accessible for persons with disabilities.

The Commissioner Janković and the Director of Umbrella organization agreed to continue and improve their cooperation through the exchange of experience, knowledge and joint activities.
