A seminar for police officers from the Novi Sad, Valjevo and Pančevo police administrations was held in Vrdnik as part of a series of training sessions intended for police officers, with the aim of more effectively recognizing and responding to discrimination.
Through lectures and interactive workshops, Tatjana Jokanović, Senior Adviser, and Relja Pantić, Head of the Department for Handling Complaints in the Public Sector, presented examples from the practice of the Commissioner’s institution and mechanisms for protection against discrimination.
The training sessions are organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality together with the Police Training Directorate and the OSCE Mission to Serbia, with the aim of strengthening institutional capacities in the field of the protection of human rights and equality.
