Fifth grade students of the International School in Belgrade visited the institution of Commissioner for the Protection of Equality yesterday in order to learn about mechanisms of protection against discrimination and respect of human rights.
Through conversation with Antigona Andonov, Chief of Staff and Advisers Ivana Filipov and Tamara Vlaškalin, students learned about discrimination, how to detect it and how to behave tolerantly and become a role model for their friends.
Most interesting topic for the pupils were gender equality, position of women, discrimination against refugees and national minorities, as well as how children can get information about their rights.
