Acting within the statutory competence^[1] to monitor the implementation of the laws on the prohibition of discrimination and recommend measures for achieving equality to the public authorities and other persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality refers to the Ministry of Health the following

RECOMMENDATION OF MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends that the Ministry of Health:

– re-examine and analyze all the effects of the potential abolition of the Institute for Health Care of Students in Serbia envisaged by the Draft Plan for Optimization of the Network of Health Care Institutions – Masterplan, deliberate the consequences of such a decision, and in cooperation with relevant actors, primarily students, arrange the network of health care institutions in accordance with the needs of the users.

The Ministry of Health will inform the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality about the measures taken in order to implement this recommendation, within 30 days from the day of receiving the recommendation of measures for achieving equality.

No appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this recommendation of measures for achieving equality, because it does not decide on the rights and obligations of legal entities.
