Acting within the competences prescribed by law[1] to monitor the implementation of legislation relating to the prohibition of discrimination and to issue recommendations of measures to public authorities and other entities for the achievement of equality and protection against discrimination, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality issues to the Municipality of Vladimirci

A RECOMMENDATION OF MEASURES FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF EQUALITY AND PROTECTION AGAINST DISCRIMINATION

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends that the Municipality of Vladimirci:

• undertake all measures and activities within its competences in order to ensure the inclusion of and encourage balanced representation of women and men in all spheres of political and public decision-making, including the exercise of public functions within the bodies of the local self-government unit.

The Municipality of Vladimirci is required to inform the Commissioner of the measures undertaken within 30 days from the receipt of this Recommendation of Measures for the Achievement of Equality.

In accordance with the law, no appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this Recommendation of Measures for the Achievement of Equality.
