Acting within the statutory competence^[1] to monitor the implementation of the laws on the prohibition of discrimination and recommend measures for achieving equality to the public authorities and other persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality refers to the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs the following

RECOMMENDATION OF MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends that the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs:

– takes all necessary measures within its competence in order to resolve situations in which persons who need support are found remained without adequate care and assistance, due to infection of informal caregivers or for other reasons. In this regard, we recommend the Ministry to send instructions how to proceed in such situations to all social protection institutions that provide accommodation services, as well as to centers for social work.

The Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs will inform the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality about the measures taken in order to implement this recommendation, within 30 days from the day of receiving the recommendation of measures for achieving equality.

No appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this recommendation of measures for achieving equality, because it does not decide on the rights and obligations of legal entities.
