Acting within the statutory competence to monitor the implementation of the laws on the prohibition of discrimination and recommend measures for achieving equality to the public authorities and individuals, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality refers to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development the following

RECOMMENDATION ON MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY

Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development:

– To undertake all measures and activities within its competence in order to include, by the Decision on financing the procurement of textbooks using funds from the budget of the Republic of Serbia, all students of elementary schools who are the third or every subsequent child in the family within the educational system.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development will notify the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of the planned measures in order to implement this recommendation, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the recommendation on measures for achieving equality.

No appeal or any other remedy is permitted against this recommendation on measures for achieving equality in compliance with the law.
