Brankica Janković, Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, met with Karla Robin Hershey, the new UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Serbia.

Commissioner introduced UN Resident Coordinator to work, mandate, instruments and actions of Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and also to institution activities planned for the following period.

It was concluded at the meeting that protection against discrimination and improvement of equality are among the most important challenges for our society, with confirmation of  support and further cooperation aimed to achieving of full equality and better life of all citizens, with full respect of human rights.
