Commissioner for Protection of Equality, Milan Antonijević, met with NALED Executive Director Violeta Jovanović, with whom he discussed opportunities for improving gender equality in the field of labor, with an emphasis on the development of social entrepreneurship.

The discussion focused on good practices for supporting and empowering women, as well as the importance of creating policies at the central and local levels that enable this.

During the discussion, Antonijević emphasized the importance of good cooperation with the business community, which the Commissioner has been implementing for years through the Partnership for Equality and which could serve as a model for similar partnerships through which, by means of joint activities with NALED, small women-owned enterprises could be better connected and gain access to educational and other support programs.
