Discrimination, especially if suffered for years,  may cause various consequences and deteriorate seniors quality of life with direct impact on their health. On the other hand, discrimination is often performed by employees in health institutions, mostly due to insufficient information or knowledge. Our common task is to prevent such behavior and build a society where everyone will have equal rights for quality health care. Health is one of the most important segments in life of every human, so we have to pay special attention to prevention of discrimination in area of exercising health care rights.

During the fair, at the stand of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, our seniors can become acquainted with the term of discrimination, learn how to detect it and report it, while our legal team will be at their disposal in case that they want to submit a complaint because of discrimination.
