Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic met with Ambassador of Portugal in Serbia Pexioto Augusto Jose Pestana Saraiva on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.

Stressing that issues of equality and respecting human rights are priority and common values of every modern democratic society, the Ambassador of Portugal expressed the support to work of Commissioner for Protection of Equality, as an umbrella institution for the protection against discrimination.

Commissioner and Ambassador are also discussed the protection and improvement of the position of the most vulnerable social groups and exchanged best practice experiences of two countries, which are universally applicable and efficient.
