Commissioner Milan Antonijević and the Local Ombudsperson of the City of Kragujevac and the municipalities of Knić, Aranđelovac and Rača, Jelena Milivojević, today signed a Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions.

The Agreement is a formal confirmation of the arrangement on joint activities in the coming period aimed at education, raising awareness and informing citizens about the protection of fundamental rights. The cooperation also includes the exchange of experience and good practices regarding the improvement of legal protection and equality at the local level.

On this occasion, the importance of the institution of the local ombudsperson was once again highlighted, as well as the opening of regional offices of the Commissioner, with the aim of ensuring continuous and accessible protection against discrimination throughout the territory of Serbia.
