Acting within the statutory competence[1] to monitor the implementation of the laws on the prohibition of discrimination and recommend measures for achieving equality and protection against discrimination to the public authorities and other persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality refers to the insurance company the following

RECOMMENDATION OF MEASURES FOR ACHIEVING EQUALITY AND PROTECTION AGAINST DISCRIMINATION

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends that the insurance company:

– to enable the conclusion of insurance contracts for persons during travel and stay abroad regardless of age, that is, not to exclude the provision of insurance services on this basis to a certain group of persons only because of their age;

– to ensure equal treatment for women and men when determining insurance premiums and benefits, i.e., that gender is not a factor that leads to differences in individual insurance premiums and benefits;

No appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this recommendation of measures for achieving equality, because it does not decide on the rights and obligations of legal entities.
