WoBaCa

In the frame of the European Union Programme REC (Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme 2014-2020) the project “Towards gender equality through increased capabilities for work-life balance” – WoBaCa” has been approved. This project is conducted by the CPE, the Estonian Gender Equality and Equal Treatment Commissioner’s Office (Head of the project), Estonian Business school, and German city of Heidelberg (Department for economic development and science) as partners. The project aims at contributing to increased capabilities for work-life balance for women and men by developing a series of innovative and interactive tools. Its purpose is increasing of equality by amendment of practical everyday skills and social norms regarding attitudes and stereotypes, especially in what concerns sharing of care and responsibilities for children. The project will analyze what factors disrupt work life balance and cause discrimination, and short films will be made on that subject (by Estonian partner) among other activities. Films will be translated into Serbian language. One of the activities of the CPE is the research about discriminatory barriers which blocking advancement of women at work,  based on the principles ‘’Glass ceiling, sticky floor’, about discriminatory barriers which blocks the advancement of women at work. Project activities will be conducted during the year 2021 and 2022, in the frame of 2 year project implementation, having in mind Covid situation during 2020.
