Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic and Ombudsman for Gender Equality of the Republic of Croatia Višnja Ljubicic held a meeting in Opatija, on the occasion of the presentation of a new international project “Cooperation for Equality – Human Rights Closer to Citizens”. Two institutions will participate in the implementation of this project in partnership. After the meeting, a discussion was held on the various components of cooperation between the two institutions for equality: cooperation in the field of reconciling family and business life, the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence and implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
