Commissioner for Protection of Equality, Brankica Jankovic, condemns the attacks on journalists and the police at the protest of high school students in Leskovac due to the alleged announcement of the Pride Parade.

Recalling that discrimination against persons of different sexual orientation is still present in our society, Commissioner stresses that such incidents show how necessary it is to educate young people about respecting human rights and accepting the diversity of each individual in an efficient and continuous manner.
