Regarding the emergence of Nazi salutations during the meeting in Belgrade dedicated to Milan Nedic, Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic, condemning such salutations in the strongest way, reminds that the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination forbids the expression of ideas, information and opinions that encourage discrimination and hatred in meetings and places which are accessible to the public, including displaying of messages or symbols that represent the hate speech.
The dispersion of racial, religious and national hatred that has led to catastrophic consequences through history is dangerous for every democratic society.
