Brankica Janković, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality met with Nenad Vujić, Director of Judicial Academy.

After evaluating the results of common activities performed so far, the Commissioner and the Judicial Academy Director spoke about extending cooperation in the area of training judges and prosecutors on the implementation of anti-discriminatory regulations, primarily of the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination.

Commissioner Janković and Director Vujić agreed that the exchange of experiences between the institution of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and judicial bodies is extremely important in terms of unifying the practice in the area of protection against discrimination and improvement of equality.

It was also agreed to make an addition to the  publication entitled „Judicial Civil Legal Protection against Discrimination“   issued by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality in 2012, with the support of the OSCE Mission in Serbia.
