Acting within the framework of legally prescribed competencies [1] to monitor the implementation of laws concerning the prohibition of discrimination and to recommend measures to achieve equality to the public authorities and other persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality addresses to the P. S. Television the following

RECOMMENDATION ON MEASURES TO ACHIEVE EQUALITY

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends to P. S. Television:

• To refrain from broadcasting reports offending the dignity of members of the Roma national minority, and to contribute, with reports and shows,  to changing patterns, customs and practices causing stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination related to members of the Roma national minority;
• Television will inform the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality on the measures planned in order to implement this Recommendation, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the Recommendation on measures to achieve equality.

No appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this Recommendation on measures to achieve equality, since the Recommendation does not decide on the rights and obligations of legal entities.
