In the procedure conducted upon the complaint filed by the association “Da se zna” against Miša Đurković, the author of the article “Genderization of Serbia: Violence Against the Majority,” for discrimination based on gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation, the Commissioner issued an opinion stating that the author, Miša Đurković, violated the provisions of Article 12, paragraph 1, and Article 20, paragraph 2, of the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination. The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommended that Miša Đurković publish a written apology for the discriminatory views expressed in this authored article, and that he henceforth comply with the regulations on the prohibition of discrimination.

Considering that the author, Miša Đurković, failed to comply with the recommendation even after a warning issued within the statutory period of 30 days, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, in accordance with the Law, hereby informs the public.
