Peer Education on Recognizing and Responding to Discrimination Held as Part of the Project “Youth Panel – Youth for Equality”

On Wednesday, May 15, 2025, the first peer education session on recognizing and responding to discrimination was held at the “Patriarch Pavle” High School in Belgrade. This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Youth Panel – Youth for Equality,” supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.

The education was designed and conducted by young peer educators who had previously undergone training through the project, with the aim of empowering their peers to recognize various forms of discrimination and respond appropriately in everyday situations. Through an interactive workshop and discussion, students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of equality, respect for diversity, and mechanisms for protection against discrimination.

One of the goals of the “Youth Panel – Youth for Equality” project is to promote a culture of human rights and equality in schools and the wider community through peer education and active youth participation.
