The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, met with the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Siniša Bjeković, with whom she discussed issues related to the promotion of equality and the protection of human and minority rights.
During the conversation, it was pointed out that human rights are an equally important but also sensitive issue for the entire Western Balkans, which is why it is very important to foster good cooperation between institutions for the protection of equality in the region, especially in conditions of intensifying economic and political relations between neighbors.
Janković and Bjeković exchanged practical experiences in the work of the two institutions and agreed that it is important to continue cooperation on improving the protection of human rights.
