Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic had a meeting with Ambassador of The Kingdom of Netherlands Gilles Beschoor Plug to discuss the conditions in area of equality and protection from discrimination in Serbia.

Commissioner Jankovic presented the most important activities of the institution of Commissioner for Protection of Equality to Ambassador Plug, with whom she also discussed the extending of cooperation in the area of human rights and protecting the various social groups against discrimination.

Ambassador Plug supported the work of Commissioner Jankovic and institution of Commissioner aimed at improving the equality, tolerance and accepting differences and emphasized that Netherlands is committed to empowering the rule of law and strengthening the capacities of institutions for protection of human rights.
