Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic attended ceremonial beginning of the new school year at the Faculty of Law of Union University and welcomed future lawyers in the world of legal science. She described legal science as the art of good and even, very important in creating of democratic society, free of stereotypes.

Jankovic told law students that institution of Commissioner for the Protection of Equality has very important position in our society, as independent and specialized body and central state mechanism for combating all types of discrimination.

Wishing successful studies to students, Commissioner told them that institution of Commissioner offers the opportunity for students of faculties of law to check their knowledge in area of protection against discrimination, by organizing traditional national competition of law students in Serbia “moot court” that is educational and interesting.

Other speakers at the ceremony were also Dean Prof. Dr Nebojsa Sarkic and Subdean Violeta Desirovic from the Faculty of Law of Union University.
