Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic met with ambassador of Slovakia Dagmar Repcekova on the occasion of forthcoming Slovakian presidency of Visegrad Group, starting on 1 July 2018, and presidency of OSCE from 1 January 2019.

Commissioner and ambassador discussed the possibilities of cooperation in area of strengthening of equality and suppression of discrimination, while ambassador expressed readiness to share the Slovakian experiences from the period of changes that had happened in the previous ten years. Some of the most important topics of discussion were the practices of independent institutions, prevention of domestic violence and greater participation of women in the security system.
