The higher we climb the hierarchical ladder, the greater our responsibility because, as leaders, we represent an example for young women, said Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, at the opening of the Women’s CEO Summit conference.
Being a leader is not just a position nor a title, but a state of mind that arises as a result of a personal choice that becomes a life commitment the moment a person decides to no longer care only about herself but also about the people who work for her. Another significant characteristic of a leader is a deep and sincere belief in what she does. You are not only here today for yourself and for your company, but you are here to inspire, to initiate, to set new standards of achievement, and to raise the bar for all girls and young women, to encourage and motivate them by your own example, said the Commissioner.
The conference brought together numerous successful women from the world of diplomacy, business, culture, and media, who had the opportunity to exchange experiences, motivations, and inspirations. The Color Press Group organized the conference.
