Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Janković participated in the “Leading for a Change” panel held as part of the global mentoring program for women leaders of Fortune magazine and the US State Department, which was implemented in Belgrade by the organization Vital Voices for the participants of this program from Serbia and other European countries.
The Commissioner, journalist Jovana Gligorijević, and entrepreneur Zoja Kukić shared her personal and professional experiences in the leadership role of women in society while emphasizing the importance of mutual networking and support. During the presentation, Janković presented the role, competencies, and action mechanisms of the Commissioner, as well as some of the Institution’s most important activities in promoting gender equality.
After the panel and discussion, the program participants visited the Adligat Museum, where they toured the Salon of Nobel Laureates, a permanent exhibition of artifacts from the lives of women who won the Nobel Prize for literature, set up on the initiative of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality.
