“Women who decide to start their own business take a huge step towards their independence, paving the way for themselves and other women who want to take that uncertain path. Each of them has their own story of success, and each of those stories is personal”, said the Commissioner at the presentation of the first digital platform for women’s business in Serbia and the region, entitled “Empowered”.

The Commissioner emphasized the importance of such a platform, which allows women to network, exchange experiences, and help and support each other.

In addition to Commissioner Janković, Zoran Đorđević, Director of the Post of Serbia, Dr. Indira Popadić, business consultant and founder of the ” Empowered” platform, Branislava Simanić, Director of the Sector for Entrepreneurship of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and Sanja Pantić, President of the Association of Businesswomen of Serbia also spoke at the promotion of the “Empowered” platform at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce.
