The media is one of our most important partners in the fight for equality, which is why the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality and the OSCE Mission in Serbia awarded Annual Media Awards for the ninth time to the authors of the best texts and contributions on the topic of the fight against discrimination, promotion of equality and tolerance. The winners were announced at the regular annual conference of the Commissioner held on the occasion of the International Day of Tolerance, and this year, the award ceremony was supported by the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia.
In the TV/radio category, first place was won by Amela Bajrović (Freemedia.rs), and second by Tamara Stojanović (TV N1), while the third place was shared by Jovana Uhrin (TV Una) and Tanja Komarica (TV Blic). In the category of online media/portals, the first prize winners were Aleksandar Đokić (Vreme portal) and Slađana Dimitrijević (UNS portal), while Dragana Prica (021.rs) and Ganja Nikolić (Niške vesti portal) won the second and third place. In the print media category, first place went to Olivera Milošević (Politika) and second to Stefan Slavković (Liceulice).
