In the procedure conducted on the complaint of the Association “Femplatz” against Danilo Lukić, due to discrimination on the grounds of sex, on the occasion of his statement for the portal Nova.rs which humiliates and belittles women and supports gender stereotypes, the Commissioner for Protection of Equality gave the opinion that this statement violated the Law on the Prohibition of Discrimination.

Lukić was recommended to publish a public apology to all women in the local and / or regional electronic or print media of the municipality of Plandište, as well as not to make statements in the future that insult the dignity of women and support gender stereotypes.

Since Danilo Lukić did not act on the recommendation, even after the warning within the legal deadline of 30 days, the Commissioner for Protection of Equality, in accordance with the Law, informs the public about it.
