The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Milan Antonijević, met with the UNICEF Serbia Director, Dejana Kostadinova, with whom he discussed cooperation and joint action to improve the situation of children who are at higher risk of discrimination.

Antonijević and Kostadinova agreed that well-defined inclusive policies, sustainable funding, and collaboration are key factors in ensuring support for children with disabilities, Roma children, and other children from marginalized social groups so they have the opportunity to fully develop their potential.

The meeting also focused on continuing work aimed at realizing the shared vision by creating a framework for implementing concrete activities that will enable every child to enjoy their rights on an equal basis.
