The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Milan Antonijević, together with his associates, met with the Chair of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of the National Assembly, Aleksandar Marković, with the aim of improving cooperation between the Commissioner and one of the key parliamentary bodies responsible for overseeing the work of this institution. During the meeting, the next joint steps in the field of protection against discrimination were defined.

Special emphasis was placed on the Commissioner’s Regular Annual Report, which has been submitted to the National Assembly. The importance of its timely consideration was highlighted, given that this document represents a comprehensive overview of the state of equality, key challenges, and recommendations for improving the legislative and institutional framework.
