Antonijević and Ebner on the Continuation of Cooperation in Advancing Equality

The continuation of long-standing successful cooperation in combating discrimination and advancing equality was the occasion for a meeting between Commissioner Milan Antonijević and the Ambassador of Austria, Christian Ebner.

Following jointly implemented projects dedicated to both young and older persons, discussions focused on the possibility that future cooperation would center on topics that directly affect citizens’ quality of life: improved access to health and social services, strengthening intergenerational solidarity, challenges of life in rural areas, women’s right to inheritance, and reducing economic inequality.

Special emphasis was placed on increasing the visibility of the Commissioner’s institution and available protection mechanisms, as well as on the exchange of experiences with equality bodies from Austria.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Ambassador of Austria, Stefanie Muller, the Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection Attaché Manuel Aigner, and Assistant Commissioner Tatjana Prijić with associates.
