The newly elected Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Milan Antonijević, has officially taken over the post from the former Commissioner, Brankica Janković. The two discussed the institution’s work, achieved results, and the challenges that lie ahead.
Commissioner Antonijević thanked Brankica Janković for her dedicated service, emphasizing that he will work to improve the institution’s performance while preserving its independence.
He stated that the institution will continue its work in the service of citizens, with a clear goal of further strengthening mechanisms for equal opportunities, protection from discrimination, and the promotion of a society that respects the dignity of every individual.
