Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, attended the regular annual meeting of the European Network of Equality Bodies, EQUINET, held in Brussels. The meeting agenda included the activities of equality institutions in light of the EU’s priorities, as well as those of the network’s member states. Also on the agenda were the elections for members of EQUINET’s board and the development of the network’s activity plan for the coming year.

On the margins of the gathering, the Commissioner held a meeting with Ana Carla Pereira, Director for Equality and Non-Discrimination at DG JUST of the European Commission, as well as meetings with colleagues from European countries.
