At Ada Ciganlija, the “Memorial Tournament – Remembering Our Athletes” was held, a sports event dedicated to deceased athletes with disabilities who, through their achievements, commitment, and dedication, left an indelible mark on the development of sports and the advancement of the position of persons with disabilities in Belgrade.

The tournament was officially opened by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, with the ceremonial kickoff, which symbolically marked the start of the competition and supported the message of inclusion and equal opportunities for all. The futsal competition was inclusive in character, with teams made up of both persons with and without disabilities, and with equal participation of women and men.

The team of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality took part in the tournament as part of the team of the Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities of Belgrade (SSOSIB), offering support both on and off the field.

First place went to the team of Stefan Dečanski Elementary School, second place was won by Petar Leković Secondary Vocational School, while our team took third place.
