The British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (BSCC) has joined the Partnership for Equality of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, with the charter signed by Lord Kulveer Ranger of Northwood, President of BSCC.
The official accession is the result of our successful cooperation and serves as a symbolic confirmation of our shared commitment to the values of equality, fairness, inclusivity, and respect for diversity within the business community — values that are essential for building more just and prosperous societies where everyone has the opportunity for personal growth, said Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Janković on this occasion.
Commissioner Janković and Lord Ranger agreed that all development must be people-centered, and that ultimately, everything is about people, as business and human rights are not on opposing sides. On the contrary, respecting them leads to healthier work environments and impacts a company’s credibility and reputation, and therefore its profitability. In this way, we continue to build better communities, Janković emphasized.
