As part of international cooperation, the institution of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality was visited by a delegation from Tajikistan during their study visit to the Republic of Serbia, organized with the support of Helvetas Serbia and the Citizens’ Initiatives association.

The purpose of the visit was to become familiar with the competencies and activities of the Commissioner’s institution, as well as to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of protection against discrimination and the advancement of the status of vulnerable social groups.

Through open dialogue, the members of the delegation were introduced to the human rights protection mechanisms implemented by the institution, including cooperation with local communities and other institutions, as well as the application of equal opportunity policies in accordance with international standards.

This visit represents a significant contribution to the international exchange of knowledge and experiences, with the aim of strengthening inclusive policies and improving equality in Tajikistan.
