The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality met with the UK Ambassador to Serbia, Edward Ferguson, Regional Director of the British Council, Clare Sears, and Stephanie Shillinglaw from the British Embassy, ​​with whom she discussed the possibilities for cooperation in the field of promoting gender equality, primarily through cultural projects and work with young people.

The Institution of the Commissioner already has good cooperation with the UK Embassy when it comes to promoting women’s creativity in Serbia, such as the recently realized exhibition “The Rights of Women in the Cultural Heritage of Serbia”, realized with the participation of the University Library in Belgrade.
