Acting within the framework of legally prescribed competencies [1] to monitor the implementation of laws concerning the prohibition of discrimination and to recommend measures to achieve equality to the public authorities and other persons, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality addresses to the Retirement home ______________ the following
RECOMMENDATION ON MEASURES TO ACHIEVE EQUALITY
The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality recommends ______________________:
- That the decisions and actions in the provision of services to the Retirement home users are not based on stereotypes and prejudices about the ability of elderly people to make decisions about their life, especially with regard to their age and state of health.
No appeal or any other legal remedy is allowed against this Recommendation on measures to achieve equality, since the Recommendation does not decide on the rights and obligations of legal entities.
